Create a Covered Storage Bed. With the black textured UnderCover Flex Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover, you can create an enclosed storage area for your F-150 that is protected from the elements and uninvited guests. The slam latch system installs on both sides of the truck bed for easy operation. The built-in prop rods let you drive with the cover fully open, or you can have it fully extended for an almost completely watertight fit.
Classic Tri-Fold Design. While the tri-fold design gives your F-150 a classic look, it is packed full of modern security features. The slam latch system gives you an access point from either side of the truck bed. The bed rail mounting system comes with drains and tubes that carry water away from the cargo area, letting you haul even in heavy rains.
Surprisingly Durable Construction. Made from a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), this tonneau cover is actually more impact resistant than a comparable aluminum build. The black textured finish helps block UV rays, so items stored in your truck bed stay safe from most environmental agents.
Quick Installation. Installing this tonneau cover is quick, easy and only requires the use of a socket wrench. The side rails come pre-assembled to make the process even easier.
Three-Year Warranty. Every UnderCover product comes with a 3-year warranty that protects against damage due to defects in material or workmanship. Exclusions may apply, so check the manufacturer's warranty for more information.
Application. The UnderCover Flex Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover with a black textured finish installs easily on all 2015-2020 Ford F-150 trucks.

Very easy and quick to install. High quality product and provides good security. Will not be 100 waterproof with a drop in bedliner that covers the front of the bed, but that would be true for all covers that rely on the bare metal to create a seal. Overall happy with my purchase.Helpful (0)

Good cover, but not so great with drop in liner
The cover was easy to install, but with a drop in liner I had issues preventing water coming in. I now have a spray in liner and this works much better.Helpful (0)

Broke on first use
I received the cover in the mail yesterday and was eager to install the item that I thought was high quality, especially for the expensive price. I followed the installation instructions as described and on the first pull of the release cord the thing pulled out of the housing and broke. Literally on the first pull, the cord broke! What seemed to be an easy installation of what I thought was a quality product, now leaves me with the hassle of returning a bulky item, and waiting for either a replacement or finding a new product.Helpful (0)

Worked for a while
I bought this for my 2017 f-150 about 2 days after I bought the truck. At first I Loved it! My family and I drove my truck to South Florida on vacation and it kept our belongings dry through alllll the rain (it rained 3 out of the 5 days we were there). However I use my truck for work and use my cover daily. After about 1 1/2 years of use, my cover started leaking. I had to have it realigned. Then eventually I replaced the foam seal around it. Then the screws that held the wire underneath that you pull to open/unlock the cover, Started pulling loose. Now all of my wire handles are just hanging. I even tried replacing them but it didn’t hold. So I feel like it wasn’t made for regular use. And now no matter what I do, it leaks. Also the clamps that attach the cover to the bed rails keep loosening and falling off. I’m constantly having to reattach them or tighten them up. I actually got on this website to find another cover lolHelpful (0)

Get over it, its a utility cover
The hardest thing to accept when adding a tonneau cover is that when focusing on it, it isn't perfect. I have tailgated for years and admired many pickups never saying "that's a nice truck but that cover looks horrible". I just accepted it as a utility no different than mud flaps or a trailer hitch. So the first thing to accept is the fact that you are going to be super critical because its your truck. If you want a nice looking cover, get the single piece hard top and have it painted to match- but then your pickup is just another auto with a big trunk. The fold-ups and role-ups maintain the utility of a pick-up while allowing you to temporarily protect valuables. I like that this one can be easily folded back or removed. This does not make your bed a safe. If someone wants your stuff, they can break a window or pry off this cover. The question is how much do you want them to damage your vehicle and cover in the process? Would I leave expensive equipment in it over night? Probably not, but nor would I leave them in the cab. It does keep valuables out of sight. I can see how it could be easily opened with simple and prevalent "thief tools" without damaging the truck. I'm contemplating countermeasures to make this harder, but again, there's no way to stop a pry bar and then you've got broken parts and scratches. I have to accept that the purpose of a bed cover is to not entice the lazy crook and to provide weather protection. I'm guessing if a thief with no tools jumps up and down on any of these, they're going to give way. Anyone heard of an ultrasonic security sensor for the bed? Maybe can at least make some noise. Bottom line: For tailgating, hauling the fishing gear or hunting toys concealed and protected from the weather while maintaining the ability to move a fridge, you can't beat this.Helpful (5)
Will this Tonneau cover install work with my plastic bed liner?
Yes, this can be used with the plastic bed liner.
Is it difficult to install? Do you have to drill for installation?
This is an easy installation, and does not require drilling.
With the cover all the way folded up and the support rods holding it in place, can you drive on the highway 70 miles an hour without anything bending or breaking?
Yes, this has been rated for highway speeds.
How does this cover perform in high wind conditions (i.e 25 MPH)? Does it stay put?
This would handle well in high-wind conditions, as it can be run on a truck that is going highway speeds.
The description states this will fit both 5.5 and 6.5 foot beds. How does that work? Does it need modified to fit one or the other?
There are separate SKUs for each bed length. Please select your bed length option when adding to the cart.
Each section of the UnderCover Flex Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover will "lock" onto the mounting rail, and will require a release cable on the bottom of each section to be pulled in order to "unlock" the section from the rail. The tailgate will also need to be open in order to access the first release cable on the underside of the cover.
