      Description

      High-Powered Performance. Get your Silverado 1500 into the power band faster by switching to a Motive Gear Differential Ring and Pinion set. You will be able to enjoy some extra low end torque, quicker acceleration, and maximum power through the entire RPM range. Motive Gear rings and pinions are a great step up in performance and durability.

      Durable Construction. Maximize drive performance for your Silverado 1500 by upgrading to a Rear Ring and Pinion set. Each Motive Gear set is CNC-machined from high-grade 8620 steel and factory lapped for an exact fit. All Motive Gear products undergo strict quality control using state-of-the-art equipment in their in-house control lab, and are backed by their strong warranty.

      Recommended Upgrade. When changing the gear ratio of your Silverado 1500's differential, please note that the calibration of your speedometer will no longer be accurate and will display the wrong speed. This somewhat annoying issue can be easily resolved using a Handheld Tuner (sold separately).

      Professional Installation Recommended. Ring and Pinion Gear installation can be a complicated operation, which is why professional help or mechanical experience is ideal to get the best results. Please refer to the included instructions for the step-by-step process.

      One Year Manufacturer's Warranty. Motive 3.90 Ring and Pinion sets are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the first 12 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Some exclusions may apply. For more details, please see manufacturer's warranty.

      Application. This Motive 3.90 Ratio Ring and Pinion Gear set fits any 2007 to 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 models that are fitted with an 8.5" or 8.6" (10 bolt) independent front suspension differential. Most installers also recommend using a master bearing kit, especially on high mileage vehicles.

      Please Note. If you are uncertain about the differential of your Silverado 1500, please check your local General Motors dealer to determine what kind of gear your truck is equipped with.

      Technical Note. Installation costs for your Motive Gear Ring and Pinion set may vary. Choose a mechanic you can trust for installations.
