      Direct Fit OEM Replacement. The Motive 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is designed as a replacement for the OEM gears. The kits feature precision-machined gears that are engineered to have superior strength, toughness, and durability than OEM gears.

      8620 Steel Construction. The 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion are CNC-machined from high-grade 8620 steel. This gives the gears exceptional strength and toughness for high-performance. Furthermore, the precision-machining ensures a perfect fit for easy installation.

      Recommended Upgrade. The kit only contains the ring gear and pinion and purchasing a Motive Gear Differential Install Kit is highly recommended.

      Professional Installation Recommended. Replacing the differential gears is a complex process and installation by a professional mechanic is highly recommended.

      1-Year or 50,000 Miles Limited Warranty. The 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion kit is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship.

      Application. The Motive 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit with 3.08 Gears are designed to fit 2007 to 2013 Chevrolet Silverado models.

      Application Note. The kit is designed for use with 2.73 ratio carrier and higher.
