This cold air intake streamlines the air path and maximizes air volume so you can enjoy powerful acceleration, super fast throttle response, and increased power. Horsepower and torque gains of up to 15.72 horsepower at 4224 RPM have been recorded. Get this upgrade now, and enjoy the best possible performance from your F-150.
No Tune Required. K&N engineered their Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake to improve the performance of your F-150 without the need of reprogramming your computer. By utilizing flow dynamics, this Intake will increase power using the original factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
Reusable Air Filter. The included red cotton gauze air filter is designed to allow high air flow rate, superior filtration compared to paper filters. This conical shaped filter is washable and reusable for life, and should be cleaned only when dirty or when your vehicle has reached around 100,000 miles.
Efficient Air Box. This Series 57 FIPK system features a durable polyethylene intake tube that holds the factory mass air sensor. The uniquely shaped air box insulates the air filter from the engine, so only cold air passes through to your engine which produces faster throttle response and better ride acceleration.
Simple Bolt-on Installation. K&N designed their Cold Air Intake kit to be a direct bolt-on replacement. With no special tools or extra modifications required installation can be completed in under an hour. All parts and detailed instructions are included.
CARB Certified. This K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is CARB certified, therefore it is legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Carb EO number D-269-57.
