Description
Boosts Off-Roading Ability. For your Ford F-250 Super Duty truck to optimally perform on rough surfaces, install this SkyJacker 4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit. Introducing 4 additional inches on your ground clearance, this lift kit has what it takes to enhance your ability to protect your undercarriage from off-road obstacles, such as rocks and logs. Plus, the increased height allows for the installment of larger tires and wheels, which retains the truck’s factory ride quality.
Introduces 4-Link Design. This suspension kit upgrades your Ford Super Duty truck with a 4-link design by isolating the action of suspending the vehicle chassis from the ability of locating the axle. As a result, you will enjoy a boost in maneuvering and steering.
Rear Leaf Springs. Included with this lift kit are rear leaf springs, which locate the rear axle so that you don’t have to depend on trailing arms and a panhard rod. This reduces the weight of the rear suspension for a truck that’s lighter than it should be.
Black MAX Shocks. Sporting a black powder coat to combat fading or rusting, this lift kit’s MAX shocks use a twin-tube design to maintain operating temperatures. Their distinctive characteristic is foam-cell technology: inserts that compress to compensate for oil expansion and get rid of air to permit mounting in any direction.
Cutting and Drilling Required for No-Welding Installation. This kit is designed for a bolt-on installation, with no welding needed. However, you will need to cut and drill to complete installation, which can take up to a day to complete.
