Not so with the Rough Country Premium N3 Rear Shocks for 5 to 7.25-Inch Lift. These shocks feature a twin-tube nitrogen gas-charged style and ten-stage variable valving technology to deliver a quicker damping performance. This translates to precise handling characteristics on the trails, even when running larger wheel and tire combos. Moreover, these shocks deliver a factory ride quality on the highway with greater handling control. This way you get to maintain the daily driving characteristics of your Super Duty truck.
Rigid Build Quality. These rear dampers’ 54mm shock bodies are precision-machined from a high-quality alloy to offer durability as well as efficient heat dissipation. This ensures a reliable performance that lasts. Additionally, these shocks are equipped with 18mm chrome-hardened piston rods, making them strong enough to take the knocks of regular off-roading. Meanwhile, their bushings are made from high-quality rubber for superior vibration absorption. Finally, these shock assemblies are finished in a chip-resistant silver powder coating for maximum protection against corrosion.
Direct Install Procedure. These N3 series rear shocks utilize your F-250 Super Duty’s factory counterparts’ locations as their installation areas. No additional drilling or other modifications to your truck are needed. Also, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete and all mounting hardware is included.
