5 2016 XLT - Mike Installation Time: Weekend

        Awesome kit!

Definitely a project but was able to install this lift in my driveway with a Jack and jackstands!...Would definitely suggest having at least 2 friends helping as it took us a full weekend to complete! I installed this lift on a 2016 XLT Sport on 35x12.50 20s

        Great Kit!

After friend installed the 6" lift there was a little rattling after driving a bit. Tightened everything down and not a peep and it rides better than stock. Hope it stays this way. Thank you RC!

        Economy kit

You get what you pay for not a terrible kit but I have had to replace the 4 wheel drive mechanisms on both sides of my truck. Lift clicks and pops often. Hindsite is 20/20 but I wish I had spent the extra money to buy a nicer kit.

5 2017 Lariat - ChadL Installation Time: Weekend

        Good product for the money

Well designed, easier to install if you have a lift. I suggest getting two buddies to help raise the front diff to re-install. Instructions aren't the best, as many times it calls to use metric sockets on standard fasteners- I wouldn't recommend. Took about 16 hours total (4 of the hours without help).

        Love It!

Great lift for the price. The rear sits a little higher than the front so I'm hoping after a couple months everything will settle and it'll sit more even. Installed myself, and wouldn't recommend doing so if you don't have a lift to use. It would be a nightmare trying to do this with a jack and jack stands. All in all great, maintains a pretty factory ride. I put 35x12.50s on with no problem.

        Loving this lift

I love the lift and it rides great! The only thing that I don't like is that when at full turn the rubber boat touches the spring. To fix this I am going to have to buy coil overs to fix this but other than that I love the lift.

      5 Top Rated Questions

I want a 6” lift. With that being said will my truck sit level after the install? (My truck is bone stock as it sits) or will it still have that front end tilt for towing? Lifted and level is the goal.

      • The Rough Country 6 in. Suspension Lift Kit will provide for a very level ride height. This can be seen in our customer installed picture linked below:

I had this 6inch lift installed on my truck about a year ago. If I wanted to go to a 10inch lift would I have to buy everything again or can it just be added to the 6inch lift?

      • Some parts would be reused but a lot of new parts would be required as parts, so overall it would be best to just upgrade to a new 10" lift kit.

Do the 6” lift struts with the suspension kit give the front exactly 6” of lift? If so with this kit will the truck still have a little bit of rake or sit level? I have a 2015 Ford F-150 4x4 supercrew

If I already have a leveling kit on the front of my 2015 f150 but if I want to install the 6" lift kit, will all the necessary parts be with the kit or would i need any of the original factor parts? I did not install the leveling kit..Maybe it doesn't matter?

      • A 6" lift will include a specific set of components to achieve that lift, which will probably replace the particular level you have on the setup, as this does include front spacers. If it doesn't replace it, you would 100% need to remove it. Complete kits for big lifts like this will include all the components needed for the install. Swapping components or modifying the combination in any way may cause issues with the setup.

I have a 2017 F-150 looking to get it higher off the road will this lift kit make my truck sit level? I was looking to put rims on as well will 22x10 rims with 35x12.50 tires fit with out any rubbing?

      • This kit would not make the truck 100% level but will be closer than the stock look. This will also allow enough clearance for those wheels and tires yes.
