Description
Enhances Style and Off-Roading Performance. Give your Ford Super Duty a meaner stance and better off-road performance with this Pro Comp 6-Inch Stage 1 Suspension Lift Kit with Pro Runner Shocks. The 6-inch increase in ground clearance creates this rougher, tougher stance and gives you the space needed to install larger wheels and tires. The significant lift height also smoothens out your ride experience, even when driving on rougher roads. Finally, this suspension lift kit can also improve your truck’s handling, stability, and steering control. This is accomplished by additional components like the radius arm drop brackets, pitman arm, and steering stabilizer bracket.
Pro Runner Series Front and Rear Shocks. For a smooth ride both on and off the road, this lift kit comes with a complete set of Pro Runner series shocks. These have a monotube structure, with a dedicated reservoir each for oil and air. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, which in turn prevents shock fade and improves damping.
Specific Rate Front Coil Springs. Lifting your truck up a full 6 inches are these dependable front coil springs. They’re made from heavy-duty spring steel, ensuring their incredible toughness and durability. They’re also guaranteed to maintain consistent ride height, even after years of heavy use. These springs also work with the shocks and radius arm drop brackets to keep your ride experience as smooth as possible.
Rear Lift Blocks and Add-a-Leafs. For the rear lift, this kit uses both lift blocks and add-a-leafs. The 5.50-inch lift blocks simply stack on top of the current blocks, which can then be supported and secured by the U-bolts. On the other hand, the add-a-leafs or leaf springs give the rear height a further boost and also increase your truck’s rear load capacity.
Sway Bar Drops. Lifted trucks often suffer from excessive sideways tilt, especially when making a turn or taking a corner at higher speeds. Pro Comp included sway bar drops with this kit to address this problem. Besides reducing body roll and restoring your truck’s balance, these sway bar drops also contribute to better handling and traction.
Track Bar Relocation Bracket. Another issue that lifted vehicles suffer from is the “death wobble,” which is caused by a misalignment between the frame and the suspension. The track bar relocation bracket included in this lift kit helps reduce these unnecessary wobbles and friction, keeping your truck stable the suspension components in good shape. It also enhances steering control and response.
Straightforward Bolt-On Installation. This lift kit is designed for a complete bolt-on installation, with no welding and only minimal drilling required. Pro Comp recommends professional installation for optimum results. It will take about 8 hours to finish installing all the components on your truck.
