Description
Better Off-Roading and All-Around Performance. This Pro Comp 6-Inch Stage 1 Suspension Lift Kit With ES9000 Shocks is a great option for improving your Super Duty's performance without putting a huge dent on your budget. This kit provides a 6-inch lift height, allowing you to install larger wheels and tires. The added ground clearance also improves your ride experience both on the streets and the trails and helps with maneuverability over obstacles. Appearance-wise, your Ford Super Duty will have a more robust, rugged stance. You also don’t have to worry about losing the smooth factory ride quality and steering of your truck, since this kit comes with radius arm drop brackets.
ES9000 Front and Rear Shocks. These ES9000 shocks may be Pro Comp’s baseline shock absorbers, but they deliver more than basic damping. They have a 10-stage, velocity sensitive valving, so your ride quality stays smooth no matter how fast or slow you go. They also have .375-inch, nylon-banded pistons and a nitrogen gas-charged design to ensure excellent street and off-road performance.
Specific Rate Front Coil Springs. This suspension lift kit comes with front coil springs to pull your truck up by 6 inches. These springs are made from high-quality spring steel, so they’re able to withstand heavy compression. You can rest assured that your ride height will remain consistent for years to come. They also help the shocks and the radius arm drop brackets maintain the OEM ride quality of your truck.
Rear Lift Blocks and Add-a-Leafs. For the rear lift, this kit makes use of rear lift blocks and add-a-leafs. The 5.50-inch lift blocks can simply be stacked on top of the current blocks, and then secured in place with the U-bolts included in this kit. Meanwhile, the add-a-leafs (also called leaf springs) don’t just add a bit of extra height, they also help increase your truck’s rear load capacity.
Sway Bar Drops. This stage 1 suspension lift kit comes with sway bar drops to help minimize body roll when driving in a curve or taking corners. Reducing the body roll improves your truck’s balance and traction. These sway bar drops also contribute to the better, lighter handling of your truck.
Track Bar Relocation Bracket. The “death wobble” is a common issue in vehicles with altered suspensions. To reduce or eliminate these unnecessary vibrations, Pro Comp included a track bar relocation bracket with this lift kit. With a properly aligned frame and suspension, you’ll notice an improvement in your truck’s stability. This track bar relocation bracket also enhances steering response together with the steering stabilizer bracket.
Bolt-On Installation. All components of this stage 1 suspension lift kit are engineered for a bolt-on installation, with minimal drilling needed. It’s highly advisable to have this kit professionally installed to ensure the best results. Total installation time is approximately 8 hours or about a day's work.
