Description
Boost Off-Road Performance Without Breaking the Bank. This Fabtech 6-Inch Basic Lift System With Stealth Shocks is perfect for the budget-minded off-roader. With the added 6 inches of ground clearance on the front and rear, you’ll experience both a smooth and comfortable ride and significant improvements on off-roading performance. You can also install larger, more capable wheels and tires with the added ground clearance. There are also other components that come with this lift system that help improve the overall performance and handling of your Super Duty. These include a track bar relocation bracket, sway bar drop brackets, and a pitman arm.
Fabtech Stealth Series Front and Rear Shocks. This basic lift system includes a set of front and rear Fabtech Stealth series shock absorbers. These feature a monotube design, with 46-mm-diameter high-flow pistons and 14-mm nitrocarburized piston rods. They’re specially designed to reduce shock fade, so you won’t lose any damping power even on the bumpiest roads. These shocks also have excellent corrosion resistance. In fact, they’re guaranteed to last for years.
Fabtech Front Coil Springs. The front-end lift height of this lift system is provided by a pair of heavy-duty Fabtech coil springs. These are made from high-quality steel, finished with a corrosion-resistant coating for extra durability. The added ground clearance from these coil springs help balance your truck’s stance and also gives you a better visual range for added safety.
Rear Lift Blocks With U-Bolt Kit. The rear lift height of this lift system, on the other hand, comes from a pair of heavy-duty steel rear lift blocks. They have a tapered shape, which reduces the drive shaft angle and therefore makes your truck easier to drive. There’s also a U-bolt kit included with these rear lift blocks for an easy and more secure installation.
Track Bar Relocation Bracket. This Fabtech basic lift system also comes with a track bar relocation bracket. This component helps ensure that all suspension components are properly aligned so that they don’t wobble and make your truck difficult to control. Less wobbling and vibrations also help prolong the good quality and lifespan of the suspension components.
Sway Bar Drop Brackets. Lifted vehicles often become more difficult to handle, especially when you drive at higher speeds. To address this issue, Fabtech included sway bar drop brackets with this basic lift system. These sway bar drop brackets help eliminate body roll, especially when taking turns and corners and also help improve articulation and overall handling.
Direct, No-Weld Installation. All components of this basic lift system can be installed directly on your truck, without any welding required. Note, however, that drilling is necessary to mount some parts. Complete installation can be finished in about 5 hours. Fabtech recommends re-torquing the nuts, bolts, and lugs after 50 miles and then on a regular schedule after the first re-torque.
Comes With a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This Fabtech basic lift system is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against issues on the construction and materials.
