Suspension Upgrade. The BDS 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit features FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coil-over shocks up front, enhancing the height and off-road capability of Ford F-150 (2015-2020 models). It offers improved suspension travel and ride comfort for tough terrain, while providing the necessary clearance for larger off-road tires. This lift kit significantly improves both off-road performance and on-road handling by correcting steering geometry and adding protective components.

Construction and Appearance. The kit includes FOX 2.5 remote reservoir coil-over shocks with durable 2.5-inch impact extruded aluminum bodies and massive chrome plated alloy steel shafts. High-arched steel crossmembers are made from 1/4-inch thick laser-cut steel for added strength and ground clearance. Steering knuckles are CNC-machined from high-strength ductile iron for durability and ESC compatibility. Components feature clear anodized finishes and anodized aluminum reservoirs for corrosion resistance and enhanced cooling.

Installation. Installation is rated difficult and requires specialty tools including a cut-off tool and reciprocating saw for frame bracket modifications. The process takes approximately 10 hours and involves correcting suspension and steering geometry as well as installing crossmembers, skid plates, and rear lift blocks.

Warranty. The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks included are fully serviceable and backed by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Application. This lift kit is designed to fit Ford F-150 trucks from model years 2015 to 2020 with 4WD and some AWD configurations. It is not compatible with heavy duty (7 lug) models and is FMVSS No.126 compliant.
