The design excludes a dust shield and bump stop; the absence of these components means extra care may be required during installation to prevent debris exposure and to ensure proper bump absorption. The part is finished in a standard protective coating suitable for longevity.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with a direct fit design requiring no drilling. It is recommended to replace shocks in pairs and to have a wheel alignment performed after installation to ensure proper handling and even tire wear.
