Description
Extreme Heat Barrier. The Form-A-Shield™ 42-Inch x 48-Inch is engineered to provide direct contact heat protection in high temperature environments. It is commonly used on exhaust components, helping to reduce radiant heat and lower temperatures under the hood, which protects delicate areas and improves performance.
Construction and Appearance. This heat shield consists of a 10 mil dimpled aluminum outer layer bonded to a high temperature rated basalt thermal barrier. The aluminum surface is pliable and durable, with resistance to oil and chemical exposure, giving the shield a functional metallic finish designed for prolonged heat exposure.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no adhesives when applied to hot surfaces, and it can be secured easily with straps, clamps, or locking ties. No drilling or complex modifications are necessary.
Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required to fit specific configurations or custom applications.
