Features, Description, Q&A, Specs & Installation
Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The Synergy Manufacturing HD Drag Link enhances the steering system of 4WD Ford Super Duty trucks by providing increased strength, durability, and improved steering feel. It is designed to handle the demands of larger tires, off-road terrain, and towing while delivering precise control and eliminating common steering issues such as drag link flop.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 1.5" x .250 wall 1026 DOM steel tubing manufactured in the USA, this drag link features a two-stage abrasion resistant powder coat finish for maximum corrosion resistance. The metal-on-metal tie rod ends include 4140 steel shanks, 1018 steel bearing housings, and are sealed with nitrile-butadiene rubber boots accompanied by retaining springs for durability and maintenance ease. The tie rod ends are fully greaseable and engineered for extreme load conditions.
Installation. This component offers a 100% bolt-on installation using basic hand tools with no drilling required, making the upgrade straightforward and hassle-free. Note that vehicles lifted over 4 inches will require a drop pitman arm for proper fitment, and some trucks may experience clearance challenges with aftermarket components or radiator hose routing.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 11-26 4WD F-250 Super Duty, ensuring proper compatibility and performance without modifications.
