Description
Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The Synergy Manufacturing Heavy Duty Tie Rod is designed to replace the stock tie rod in your Ford Super Duty with a stronger, more durable option. It enhances steering precision and responsiveness, making it an essential upgrade for heavy-duty applications. This product is engineered to withstand extreme conditions, ensuring reliable performance for demanding owners.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from seamless, heat-treated 4130 chromoly tubing made in the USA, this tie rod delivers superior strength compared to OEM parts. It features metal-on-metal greaseable tie rod ends made of 4140 steel shank and 1018 steel bearing housing, protected by a heavy-duty nitrile-butadiene rubber boot. The assembly includes grease fittings and dust boots with retaining rings for easy maintenance. The entire tie rod is finished with a two-stage abrasion-resistant powder coat for excellent corrosion resistance and a professional appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a direct bolt-in design requiring no drilling or modifications. The kit includes a double adjuster sleeve and pinch bolt assembly for easy steering alignment adjustments while installed on the vehicle. The pinch bolt design eliminates the need for jam nuts, preventing loosening during use.
Application. Designed specifically for use on 11-26 4WD Ford F-250 Super Duty models, this tie rod fits the under knuckle configuration and clears most aftermarket differential covers, including known compatibility with Mag-Hytec covers.
