2019-2024 GMC Sierra Mass Air Flow Meters

Bring more fuel to your engine and bolster performance with our improved truck mass air flow meters also known as MAFs. The mass air flow meter on your Sierra has the important job of letting your system know how much air is flowing into the engine. This system accomplishes the task by heating up a wire or a coil and then measuring how quickly it cools off due to the air flow. In response to the air flowing into the engine, the fuel system is told to supply more fuel to the engine. This helps to create a balanced response in the engine and a smoother acceleration and a more even burn. If you upgrade the MAF sensor in your pickup truck, you can enhance the amount of power that your system generates overall. The best time to get a more effective MAF is after changing out some of the other Sierra intake parts as well. Adding one of our Sierra cold air intakes means that you often need a better MAF sensor as well to make sure that the right amount of fuel is being sent at all times. Swap in a new MAF, get a cold air intake and invest in a throttle body as well and you'll enjoy a nice little performance boost to your pickup truck. From there you can upgrade your exhaust system and think about adding a serious system upgrade such as a turbocharger to drive serious power with your pickup truck's engine. Make sure you get the performance you want with your Sierra, upgrade the necessary engine and intake parts to make that happen. We have all the parts you need to do this at American Trucks, and they're all exact-fit items so they are simple to install.
