Not unless you install the Rough Country 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Lifted Struts and V2 Monotube Shocks. This suspension lift kit provides 6 inches of front and rear lift, enabling you to negotiate more aggressive off-road trails while also running 35-inch off-road tires. More significantly, this kit achieves its ground clearance while maintaining factory ride quality. This impressive ride quality ensures you’re able to keep using your truck as a daily driver.
Premium Lifted Front N3 Struts. This lift kit will replace your factory front shocks with a pair of premium lifted N3 front struts. These struts are designed to work with your new ride height and include pre-loaded coil springs to simplify their installation. Moreover, these struts utilize a twin-tube design with infinitely variable damping technology, giving you exceptional damping performance off-road, and smooth ride quality on the highway.
High-Performance V2 Monotube Rear Shocks. This lift kit will also replace your factory dampers with a pair of high-performance rear V2 monotube shock absorbers. These shocks feature a nitrogen-charged monotube design and an internal floating piston to provide a faster off-road damping response and a more accurate handling feel. On the highway, these shocks offer a firm but smooth ride quality with the same level of handling feel.
Sturdy Lifted Steering Knuckles. This kit delivers its front lift via a pair of lifted steering knuckles. These steering knuckles feature optimized pivot points designed to eliminate binding, which helps maintain a smooth ride. Moreover, these knuckles are precision-cast from high-quality nodular iron and are finished in a protective black powder coating for long service life.
Robust Fabricated Lift Blocks. Raising the rear is the responsibility of robust steel rear lift blocks. These rear lift blocks are precision-fabricated, making them extremely resistant to compression forces when compared to conventional cast counterparts. What’s more, these lift blocks are computer-designed to prevent axle wrap. Lastly, these blocks receive the same corrosion protective powder coating as the steering knuckles.
Heavy Duty Front and Rear Steel Cross-Members. This lift kit also comes with front and rear cross-members designed to reinforce your undercarriage and allow proper installation of certain components. Additionally, these cross-members are CNC-cut and expertly welded from 0.25-inch plate steel before receiving a durable black powder coat finish for superior corrosion protection.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing this Rough Country 6-inch suspension lift kit will require some trimming, cutting, and drilling to properly fit some components. You will also need a complete set of tools as well as advanced mechanical knowledge and skills. If you’re not used to this type of installation, professional installation is always an option.
