Description
Performance Enhancement. The On3 Performance Single Turbo System with a standard 70mm journal bearing turbocharger is engineered to significantly increase power output and torque of the 5.3L Silverado and Sierra 1500. This bolt-on turbocharger system is an accessible upgrade that improves throttle response and delivers on-demand power, enhancing towing capability and driving enjoyment.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a durable Gen 2 cast stainless steel turbo manifold with a custom fabricated design, the system uses thick 16-gauge 304 stainless steel tubing for the downpipe and lightweight 304 aluminum tubing for the cold side. Components are finished to withstand intense heat cycles and daily use while maintaining a clean and professional engine bay appearance.
Installation. Installation is designed to be straightforward and feasible over a weekend for individuals with moderate mechanical experience. An optional electric oil drain pump system is available to avoid drilling the oil pan, but this is not included as standard. The system employs a simple bolt-on setup that integrates with factory exhaust connections.
Application. This single turbo system fits 14-18 5.3L Silverado 1500 models and is engineered specifically to accommodate the truck’s 4x4 transfer case and driveshaft configuration without modifications.
