      Product Overview. The Max Trac 3-Inch Rear Lowering Coil Springs provide a practical solution for lowering the rear suspension on compatible SUVs. These coils enable a lower stance, enhancing vehicle aesthetics and potentially improving handling performance. They are specifically engineered to achieve a 3-inch drop in rear suspension height.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from hot wound steel for strength and durability, these coil springs feature a grey powder coat finish that offers a protective, matte texture resistant to rust and corrosion.

      Installation. Installation involves replacing the existing rear coil springs. Shock extenders (Part Number 401003) are required, and for vehicles with Autoride suspension, shorter sensor rods (Part Number 990962) are necessary. Installation is straightforward for individuals with moderate mechanical skills and requires no drilling.

      Application. These lowering coils fit 2007-2020 Tahoe models without Autoride or MagneRide suspension systems. They are not compatible with MagneRide-equipped vehicles and have specific requirements when used on Autoride-equipped models.
