      Construction and Appearance. The insulation material comprises a compounded blend of butyl rubbers laminated with a silver polymer foil backing, presenting a black polymer surface with silver backing for a professional finish. It has a thickness of 1.5 mm, remains flexible at cold temperatures, and features excellent peel strength and hardness. This premium material is moisture and corrosion resistant, temperature rated to 550°F, and self-extinguishing according to FMVSS 302 standards.
