The Hays Twister 3/4 Race Torque Converter with an 11-1/8-inch bolt pattern and 3200-3600 RPM stall is engineered to enhance acceleration and support up to 650 horsepower, making it ideal for street and strip applications. It improves power delivery and drivability for modified vehicles equipped with aftermarket camshafts and cylinder heads. This torque converter provides a balanced combination of high performance and durability.

      Construction and Appearance. Featuring advanced spray welding technology, this torque converter ensures strong, consistent, and hardened fusion at critical areas for increased durability. Internal welding extends service life compared to traditional brazing methods. Heavy duty Torrington bearings and high flow stator vents enhance strength and cooling capacity. It boasts a robust 9.6-inch diameter with a precision 11-1/8-inch bolt pattern, delivering reliable performance under demanding conditions.

      Installation. The converter installs without the need for additional drilling or vehicle modifications, providing a straightforward upgrade for compatible transmissions. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and optimal performance.

      Application. Designed to fit the 2007 to 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe equipped with the 4L60E/4L65E transmission for LS engine configurations only. This torque converter is not compatible with nitrous oxide or trans-brake systems.
