Description
Tall Valve Covers. The Granatelli Motor Sports Tall Valve Covers in Red Wrinkle finish offer an enhanced look and improved functionality for LS series engines. Designed as direct replacements for factory covers, they provide an integral coil mounting surface that eliminates the need for factory coil brackets. These covers deliver a clean, stylish upgrade while supporting your engine’s performance by accommodating taller camshafts.
Construction and Appearance. Made from cast aluminum for durability and lightweight strength, these valve covers feature a distinctive red wrinkle finish that adds style and surface texture to resist wear and fading. They include all necessary grommets, gaskets, and mounting hardware, as well as a billet aluminum oil fill cap for a high-quality finished appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, as the covers utilize the LS centerbolt mounting style. They fit directly onto compatible LS cylinder heads and work with stock-style rocker arms and camshafts with lifts up to 0.750 inch.
Application. These valve covers are designed specifically to fit the 2009-2014 6.2L Tahoe, ensuring compatibility with the engine and coil configurations of this vehicle generation.
