The Flowmaster 70 Series Center/Offset Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/3-Inch Outlet is designed to improve horsepower, torque, and engine efficiency while delivering a mild exterior exhaust tone. Ideal for trucks, SUVs, RVs, tow vehicles, and high-performance street cars, it provides superior sound control and power gains in applications where space allows.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a durable construction with full MIG welds and a high-temperature paint finish in black. Its chambered design incorporates Flowmaster’s Delta Flow® technology and an enlarged case for enhanced sound attenuation and longevity.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, compatible with clamp-on or weld-on methods. No drilling is typically required, but new hangers are necessary and must be sourced separately.
Application. This muffler offers universal fitment, requiring some adaptation to accommodate specific vehicles and configurations.
