If you’re looking to advance your Silverado 1500's off-road performance while keeping your handling and ride quality smooth, then the Fabtech 1.5-Inch Ball Joint Upper Control Arm Lift Kit with Stealth Shocks is just what you need. This suspension lift kit is designed to give your truck the capacity to take on more involved off-road trails while maintaining ride quality and handling. Specifically, this kit raises ground clearance by 1.5 inches, while also maintaining proper steering angles, as well as improving damping performance for the trails. These factors come together to ensure exceptional off-road performance and on-road manners. What’s more, this added ground clearance allows you to install those 33-inch wide off-road tires you’ve always wanted.
Rear Stealth Shock Absorbers. One such component ensuring excellent handling is a pair of Fabtech’s Stealth shocks designed to replace your factory rear shock absorbers. These rear shocks feature a monotube design and vehicle-specific valving to deliver faster damping performance. This translates to more precise handling and more responsive ride quality both on the road and off. Moreover, these shocks also feature black powder coated shock bodies and piston rods for an aggressive blacked-out look.
Rigid Upper Control Arms. Lifting up the front of your truck is accomplished by a pair of rigid upper control arms. These upper control arms are redesigned to prevent binding and to optimize your truck’s turning radius. These elements work to maintain proper steering geometry and handling. Moreover, these control arms are fabricated from high-grade tubular steel and utilize much stronger ball joints for superior durability and smooth articulation.
Robust Rear Coil Spring Spacers. Rear lift is made possible by a pair of robust coil spring spacers. These spacers are machine-formed from high-grade steel ensuring maximum strength and an exact fit. These parts then receive a rugged black powder coat finish, offering excellent rust protection.
Wear-Resistant Upper Shock Spacers. Ensuring you’re able to make full use of your factory shocks, this kit comes with a pair of upper shock spacers. These spacers help ensure your truck’s factory ride quality is maintained. Also, these components are machine-fabricated from heavy-grade steel for exceptional durability and a precise fit.
Professional Installation Recommended. This lift kit requires the use of a spring compressor in its installation. Minor drilling is required as well. Please remember that misuse of a spring compressor can potentially lead to injury and is also a tool that represents a minor investment. If you are not that experienced using this tool or are not too keen on purchasing one, please consider professional installation.
