Man 1: The In-Channel Vent Visors that we're talking about here today will be an incredibly sleek and very low-profile option for all 2015 and newer SuperCrew owners, looking to help reduce excess wind noise or possibly stay a little bit drier with those windows cracked in the rain. Now, this made-in-the-USA set of four will combine that durable injection molded acrylic build along with that dark, smoked appearance all for right around your $100 price point. Install according to the site's gonna get a relatively soft one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. Take you about an hour at absolute most from start to finish as we'll show you later in the video. All right guys, so if you didn't know, the idea behind a vent visor or window deflector is pretty simple, right, allow truck owners the ability to crack their windows to help improve circulation or maybe while grabbing a smoke, and prevent any excess rain or wind from getting inside the cab. Now, this will, again, help keep that truck a little bit cooler during the summer months by allowing you to crack those windows a bit and will also help air out the cab a lot quicker while moving, while again, also preventing any extra stuff you don't want inside the cab. Now, as an added bonus, some truck owners out there feel these things make an appearance benefit or impact as well. That's kind of a case-by-case basis, but I will say they are definitely a function-first modification. So when looking at wind deflectors on the site, you're gonna find a pretty decent selection, but I would say most are going to typically mount to the outside of your factory door just above that window frame. That's kind of been the standard over the years. Well, lately there have been a lot of companies out there coming up with some different styles to try to reduce the size of the footprint of how these things mount in just hopes of making things even sleeker. And that's exactly what's going on here with the AVS options. Instead of mounting to the outside of the door, these options will install in your window channel, which really does make for a more low-profile look. Now, when installed, you are still gonna maintain that same original purpose or goal of keeping moisture and excess wind to a minimum. And that does not matter with how things are mounted, because again, these still are going to deliver that same functionality as the ones that mount to the outside of the frame, just a much cleaner appearance overall. Now, materials with these particular deflectors or visors will feature that thick injection-molded acrylic that is pretty durable, but then more importantly has been finished in a dark, smoked appearance. It's gonna look great, nice, and stealthy once installed and even more so, of course, on trucks with dark paint colors or tinted windows, but still look good pretty much regardless of your paint color or window situation. Now, again, guys, this kit has been made here in the USA, it does include two fronts, two rears for your SuperCrew, and you do not need to do anything crazy. There's no drilling, there's no permanent modification. Everything is done with the included 3M tape here that's pre-installed for you. Now, speaking of installs, it's a great time to kind of shift gears, get into our detailed walkthrough, and show you how it's done.Man 2: Tools required for this install include the included alcohol prep pads. What's up, guys? Today, we're gonna be installing a set of In-Channel window deflectors for our F-150, so let's get right to it. So our first step's gonna be to wipe down where our window deflector is gonna be. You get two alcohol prep pads in the kit, so I'm gonna use one for this side and one for the other. And now we can do the same thing on the other side. So, now we can go ahead and remove the backing on our double-sided tape, and then we can hook these side grooves into place and slide up. And then we'll just apply some pressure, stick down that double-sided tape. And now we can move on to the back. So now for the back, we can go ahead and peel off our double-sided tape, and then we can get this lined up and slide into place. And now with our back window deflector installed, we can do that exact same thing on the other side. So, that'll wrap up this review and install of the In-Channel Ventvisor Window Deflectors for the front and rear in dark smoke for your 2015 to current F-150 SuperCrew. Thank you for watching, and remember, for all things F-150, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.
