These headers come with a form factor that’s close to stock while also including racing-inspired features. Specifically, these headers combine 1.50-inch primary tubes that converge into the exclusive 2.50-inch wide Firecone collectors, improving exhaust gas velocity as a result. This setup provides your truck with practical gains in power and torque, making them ideal for motorists who want to take their daily-driven trucks on weekend track meets.
Bold Exhaust Tone. One ideal side effect of improving exhaust gas velocity is you also get a bolder exhaust tone to match. Your new tone sounds deeper, and raspier typical of a high-performance vehicle. With your new sound, you get to make your presence known, whether on the road, track, or trail.
Retains Factory Catalytic Converters. These headers are engineered to work with your truck’s factory exhaust system, including the catalytic converters. What this means is, you don’t have to worry about violating emissions regulations.
Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Construction. These shorty headers are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel tubes measuring 1.50 inches in diameter for maximum corrosion resistance. These tubes are then mandrel-bent and fully welded for superior strength. Likewise, the flanges are CNC-machined from 0.375-inch thick stainless steel making them extremely resistant to warping and leaking.
ECU Re-Tune Not Required. These headers provide improvements in power and torque via their 1.50-inch primary tubes, and exclusive Firecone collectors and do not require an ECU re-tune. That being said, providing your truck with an ECU re-tune down the line will always be helpful in maximizing the performance of these components.
CARB-Exempt. These shorty headers are CARB exempt under EO D-57-31. This makes them completely street legal in all 50 states.
Application. These Natural 1.50-Inch Shorty Headers fit all 2004 to 2008 4.6L Ford F-150 models.
