Description

Performance Torque Converter. It is designed to provide higher stall speeds from 2800 to 3200 RPM, where more torque is available, delivering quicker off-the-line response for performance-focused drivers. This converter does not incorporate a lock-up mechanism.

Construction and Appearance. This torque converter features furnace-brazed impeller fins and turbine for added strength and durability. The impeller hub is constructed from a precision alloy steel, contributing to a robust design. It is fully balanced for smooth operation and pressure-tested to ensure reliability under demanding conditions.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and compatible with existing 700R4/4L60 transmission components. The converter fits standard 10.75 and 11.50-inch bolt patterns and does not require drilling, modifications, or flexplate changes.

Application. Fits 07-09 Tahoe accurately; however, this torque converter is not compatible with certain variations requiring lock-up functionality or specific performance setups such as supercharged or plate-type nitrous oxide configurations.
