Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Upgrade. The Baer Pro+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Fire Red Calipers is engineered to significantly improve braking performance on compatible vehicles. It delivers enhanced stopping power, superior heat dissipation, and excellent fade resistance, making it ideal for demanding driving conditions or heavier vehicle loads.
Construction and Appearance. This braking system features a 6-piston floating caliper, CNC machined from US sourced forged or billet aluminum and finished with a durable powder coat for corrosion resistance. The 14-inch rotors are two-piece, vented, slotted, drilled, and zinc plated to optimize heat management and prevent corrosion. Stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips improve durability and ensure quiet operation.
Installation. Moderate mechanical skill is required for installation. The rotors come pre-assembled with high-grade stainless hardware, eliminating the need for rotor drilling. The kit mounts directly to 2WD vehicles equipped with OE C-clip rear ends and 10-inch rear drum brakes, allowing for a straightforward upgrade.
Application. This kit fits 1988-98 Chevrolet C1500 2WD trucks and 1992-99 C1500 2WD SUVs with OE C-clip rear ends and 10-inch rear drum brakes, including 1995-99 2WD Tahoe models, providing an exact fit without requiring additional modifications.
