It replaces the factory rear drum brakes with a powerful 6-piston disc setup designed for enhanced stopping power and durability, ideal for street and performance driving.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features calipers CNC machined from forged or billet aluminum sourced in the USA, ensuring strength and precision. The calipers have a durable powder-coated finish for lasting corrosion resistance. The rotors are two-piece, vented, slotted, and drilled with a zinc-plated finish and billet aluminum hats, combining excellent heat dissipation with a modern appearance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and installs directly in place of the OEM drum brake components. No drilling or modifications to the axle housing are necessary. The kit includes all necessary hardware, stainless braided DOT-approved brake hoses, and a backing plate that serves as the caliper mount and parking brake shoe housing for a straightforward upgrade.
