The Baer BIG Claw Performance Drilled and Slotted Rear Rotor Upgrade Kit enhances braking capability by providing larger diameter rotors and caliper relocation brackets that increase brake torque and leverage. Designed to improve stopping power and reduce brake fade, this kit is ideal for upgrading factory brake systems on heavy-duty 2WD SUVs requiring high-performance braking on the rear axle.
Construction and Appearance. These rotors are constructed from high-quality cast iron using a purpose-cast, one-piece design with directional curved cooling vanes for efficient heat dissipation. The friction surface is cross-drilled and slotted to help vent gases and brake dust, and finished with a zinc plating that protects against rust and corrosion while adding a sleek visual appeal behind open-spoke wheels.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a direct bolt-on design that maintains OE pad and hardware compatibility, requiring no brake bleeding or additional modifications. Caliper relocation brackets are included to accommodate the larger rotor diameter without altering OEM brake components.
