The Amp Research PowerStep Plug N is an automated running board system that deploys when the vehicle door opens and retracts when it closes, providing easier access to your truck or SUV. It enhances convenience and safety by offering a stable platform for entering and exiting while maintaining a sleek vehicle profile when not in use.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a military-grade black PTFE coating, these running boards ensure durability and longevity. The textured, slip-resistant surface and integrated low-profile LED lights add both function and style, perfectly complementing your vehicle’s exterior.
Installation. Designed for straightforward installation with a vehicle-specific kit, the running boards mount to the rocker panel and connect to the vehicle’s OBDII port via a plug-and-play module. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and functionality; drilling is generally not required for most applications.
Warranty. These running boards include a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
