Description
Power Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Xtreme Running Boards provide convenient auto-deploying steps that extend when vehicle doors open and retract when doors close. These running boards enhance access to the cab, particularly for trucks with higher ground clearance, ensuring convenience and safety for passengers entering or exiting the vehicle.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum with stainless steel hinge pins, these running boards are anodized and finished with a military-grade PTFE coating for outstanding durability in harsh environments. They feature a textured, slip-resistant black powder-coated step surface that is 6 inches wide, with integrated LED lighting to improve visibility and safety.
Installation. Installation requires moderate skill, including some drilling and wire splicing; vehicle-specific hardware and instructions are included. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and function.
Warranty. These running boards carry a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2015–2020 Ford F-150 models.
