Hey, guys. It's Sara with americantrucks.com and today, we have a review and install the Proven Ground Soft Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover, fitting your '19 and newer Silverado 1500s. This is perfect for the Silverado owner who's looking for one of the most budget-friendly soft covers that folds away quickly and easily. This soft tri-fold tonneau cover keeps your bed covered and dry and, when you need access, folds away with ease. The frame for this tonneau cover features aluminum construction with a black powder coat finish and it features this durable black vinyl top. This tonneau also features a low profile design with a simple clamp-on fastening system. So, one thing I wanna know with this cover, as with any softcover, is that it's not gonna provide as much protection as a hardcover would. It's not going to pass a knife test. However, if you're looking for a quick and budget-friendly way to get your bed covered, this is an excellent choice.So, as far as price goes, this tonneau cover comes in right around 275, making it the most budget-friendly tonneau cover for your Silverado. I'm giving this install one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. It features a simple clamp-on installation, with no tools or drilling required and can be done within one hour. So, with that said, let's jump into our install.All right, so the first step in our install is to set the cover on top of your truck's bed and make sure that it's nice and even with the bulkhead, and then we can clamp it down. All right, so fold the clamps down, and they're just gonna turn like this and clamp to the side of your bed. Make sure you have a nice, good grip on there. And if you need to, you can adjust this clamp left and right before you clamp it down...like this, until you have a nice, tight grip on the side of your bed. Next up, you're gonna do these safety straps, these clamps to the side of the bed as well. Loosen this knob, slide it over the edge of the bed, and tighten it down.Repeat that on the other side. At this point, with the clamps done, you can unclip this cover and fold it out. If you need to, make any adjustments at this point. And now, we can clamp down the back. All right, so once you're sure the cover still fits nicely, you can clamp down the rear. These work the same as the front. Make sure you're getting a good grip to the edge of the bed and adjust these, if needed. Repeat that with the other side. All right, so now we're just gonna take a look, do a final check of the fitment of our cover, make any adjustments, if needed.
