      Video Review & Installation

Justin: If you're looking to clean up the appearance of the rear wheel wells in your 2019 and newer Silverado while also adding a bit of protection at the same time, well then you should consider adding the affordable husky wheel well guards that we have here today. Now, these made-in-the-USA liners or guards will feature that black, polyethylene build, which would be very durable, and therefore, get a lifetime warranty all for just north of 100 bucks. Now, site is gonna call this a strong 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter here when we're talking install, guys, maybe 30 minutes or more of your time. But, if you hang with me for a bit, we'll walk you through this job later in the video. So wheel well liners or guards, in my opinion, are gonna be a great addition for any truck owner for two big reasons. Now, first and foremost, gonna dramatically clean up the look of those rear wheel wells on both stock or lifted trucks, and then, secondly, obviously, protect the underside of those wheel wells along with things like your frame, the bed, and suspension, from things like dirt, rocks, and ultimately, corrosion long term. How does it go about doing this? Well, these guys are gonna serve as sort of a barrier or shield for some of these components we just talked about, from the elements, and ultimately keep them a little bit cleaner in the process. Now, the barrier that we are referring to in this case is gonna come in the form of this very thick polyethylene or plastic material that has a little bit of give to it, but honestly, it's very tough overall and should hold up to the rocks, mud, and basic overall daily abuse of being underneath the rear of your rig. Now, these things have been designed in a way that I think fits those wheel wells perfectly and altogether make for a very low-key appearance once they've been installed. Now, speaking of which, the second big pro with these guys install will be appearance. Let's face it, the factory rear wheel well really isn't the most visually appealing part of the truck, especially if you have a lighter color truck out there, right? The whites, the silvers, the reds, and so on. Now, this really gets magnified on lifted trucks out there because, let's face it, thanks to that lift, you're now seeing even more of the wheel well itself. Now, some people might go as far as Rhino-lining this particular area for more protection and improve the looks, but depending on the quality of the job, it can sometimes be a little hit or miss. Now, the Husky options, again, that we have here on the other hand will give off a very factory-like appearance once installed, and black that area out completely, making for, I think, a very clean look. But what do you say, we switch gears and talk about the process of getting the guards in place here from Husky, give you a better idea of just what you're going to encounter in the garage or driveway? Feel free to check out our detailed walkthrough and tool breakdown right now.Man: Again, this is gonna be a very simple install, needing no hand tools whatsoever. We're gonna go ahead and take our liner, get it lined up in our rear wheel well, and get our push pins in. After you get your liner into your wheel well, go ahead and place the top of it behind the lip of your fender. And the front part of it will go in front of the mud flap. Go ahead and take your foam seal as well as your plastic Christmas tree push pin, and get that placed through the liner into the predrilled holes, and we'll continue that with the rest. And go ahead and repeat those steps on the passenger side. However, that is going to wrap it up for our review and install of the Husky Rear Wheel Well Guards in Black, fitting your '19 and newer 1500 Silverado.
