When your F-250 rolled off the assembly line, it was programmed to the needs of a daily driver, but not for someone in search of performance gains. By uploading one of the Superchips Pre-Configured Strategy Tunes, you'll experience gains in fuel economy, horsepower, torque and even towing performance. Not only will you receive performance Strategy Tunes, it also includes tuning that is designed to improve your overall drivability by eliminating the excessive downshifting when you go up hills.
Compact, Convenient, and Efficient. Featuring a full color, 2.8 in. high definition screen, this Superchips Flashpaq F5 California Edition Tuner is a slim, sleek design that makes it easy to handle and store in your center console or glove box when not in use. Not only is it compact, but its exceptionally graphic interface provides an improved user experience when compared to the older Flashpaq F4 model. Powered by your F-250's OBD-II port or USB connection when connected to your PC/Windows computer, this F5 Tuner features increased memory with a high-speed processor to provide extraordinary tuning and updating speed.
Diagnostics. The Superchips Flashpaq F5 can also be used as a diagnostic code reader. Save yourself hundreds of dollars each year by reading and clearing your own computer codes rather than paying a dealer to do the same. It's as easy as a few simple steps.
Internet Updateable. This F5 California Edition Tuner includes a USB cable to enable quick updates or upgrades over the internet. It is recommended to update your F5 before installation to ensure you have the latest software updates and calibration files. Updates are available through Superchips.
Easy to Load; Easy to Restore. When you load a Superchips Pre-Configured Strategy Tune on your F-250, the tuner automatically stores your vehicle's factory settings. To return the vehicle to its factory settings, just plug the tuner back in, select the option to restore the factory settings, and you're done.
Adjustable Parameters. The Superchips Flashpaq F5 California Edition Tuner features end-user adjustable parameters so you can customize the tune and maximize the performance of custom modifications you've made to your 3.5L F-250. These parameters can be adjusted on the Superchips Flashpaq F5 Pre-Configured Tunes and/or the stock tune. Please note not all adjustments are available on all models/vehicles.
