So, right off the bat, the first point I wanna drive home here is that this particular option is one of the most premium options available on the site here as far as aftermarket long tubes go. Stainless Works is a top quality brand offering top quality materials known as Everlast 304 stainless steel. This particular kit offers a 1 3/4 inch primary, 3/8 inch flange, and a 3-inch slip-fit connector loaded with the merge spike technology. Merge spikes are basically literal spikes stuck inside the slip fits that reduce turbulence to make more power, while promoting scavenging and increasing the overall volume.Aside from the measurements and tech talk there, what we can talk about here is, it will produce TIG welds throughout the entire kit here, manufactured in the USA, all backed by Stainless Works Limited lifetime warranty. So, this is the catted y-pipe version. And because of that, it does come with high flow stainless steel catalytic converters included in the kit here. This is gonna prevent it from being an off-road kit only. However, that is still gonna be the case for those emissions-restrictive states, such as California. In addition to that, it does come with a high flow y-pipe we see here, which works perfectly with your factory cat-back, thanks to the factory connect. However, if you're looking to use the Stainless Works Performance Connect cat-back exhaust, you will have to pick up the Stainless Works Performance Connect Longtubes to work in conjunction with those. This is only gonna work with your factory cat-back system. Keep that in mind when you're shopping around. So, I wanna touch base again on the 1 3/4 inch primary we have here in this particular kit. Now the 1 3/4 inch is gonna work with either your naturally aspirated setup or even any forced induction setups. However, there is a 1 7/8 option available with a bigger diameter tubing here, which may be a little bit more beneficial power wise for anything with a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous. With that said, they will both work for each setup. You just wanna keep in mind, depending on your setup and what you're running as far as future plans, there may be one more beneficial than the other as far as the RPM power band goes. While I'm on the topic of power gains, I do wanna point out with this set in conjunction with a decent tune, you can pick up anywhere in the 20 horsepower region as well as torque, maybe even a bit more for those force induction setups. Aside from power, sound is gonna be a pretty good increase as well, giving you a more aggressive note, thanks to some classic long tubes. However, this is working in conjunction with your factory cat-back, so it won't be too over the top. If you're looking to go over the top, I would, however, recommend picking up that performance connect I mentioned earlier in conjunction with the x-pipe version instead of the y-pipe to really open up some more rasp. I wanna talk a little bit more about the price tag since this is a more premium quality kit, cannot stress that enough. It will definitely bring on a higher price tag of about $1,600. For everything you see here $1,600 will buy you more power and more sound, and a highest quality kit available, and I do wanna point out the bright side here is you didn't have to pick up an aftermarket cat-back since it is the factory connect version. However, if it is too much of an install or too knowledge-based for you and you need to hand it over to a professional, keep in mind how much that is gonna tack on as far as pricing for the labor. Shifting over to that install, I do wanna say this is gonna get a full three out of three wrenches on a difficulty meter. To reiterate, you wanna hand this over to a professional if you don't have the know-how to do it, requires some serious mechanical expertise and the entire toolbox ranging for the better part of a day. Now with that said, it is on an F-150, so you get a bit more room to work with than, say, a Mustang. But still it is gonna be a very lengthy one at that. With all that said and done that was the overview. Let's wrap this thing up here. If you're the owner of an '11 to '14 5.0 F-150 you might wanna check out the Stainless Works 1 3/4 inch headers with the catted y-pipe and the factory connect, all of which you can find right here at americantrucks.com

IS THIS THE BEST HEADER FOR THE MONEY FOR MY 2013 F-150 5.0 V8?
Yes its the best fit and quality to get the better gains in both horsepower and torque.
I have a Borla ATAK Cat-back exhaust. The video says it will only work with factory cat-back however my Borla says it’s bolts up to factory Y-pipe. My question is will this fit my current exhaust?
The Stainless Works 1-3/4 in. Headers will be compatible with the OEM catback exhaust, or any aftermarket exhaust that is a direct replacement with no cutting required. You should have no issues with your Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust.
Can this system be used with the factory resonator?
Stainless Works specifically made this Stainless Works 1-3/4 in. Headers w/ Catted Y-Pipe - Factory Connect exhaust system to bolt up directly your F-150's existing stock cat-back.
Can these be used with the stock catback exhaust?
Hello! These headers are designed to work with your stock catback exhaust!
Will this create the droning sound when towing at 200-2500 rpm range. I other words how aggressive is the sound
These headers will have a different sound depending on the cat-back portion of the exhaust. If the stock cat-back is used the sound will be on the mellow side with some slight increase in aggressiveness.
