These shorty headers combine less restrictive 1.625-inch primary tubes with exclusive 2.50-inch wide Firecone collectors. This unique design works to improve exhaust gas velocity, which in turn enhances performance numbers, something that can prove useful no matter where you drive. Additionally, these headers’ factory-style emission connections translate to relatively efficient installation.
Audacious Exhaust Note. These short-style headers also make your truck sound as good as it performs. Specifically, these components will transform your exhaust note from a run-of-the-mill mechanical whirr to an audacious, raspy exhaust roar. This new exhaust sound is sure to turn heads, making your vehicle more noticeable to the other motorists.
Retains Factory Catalytic Converters. These headers are designed to retain the use of your truck’s factory catalytic converters. This way, you get to maintain proper emissions levels.
High-Strength Stainless Steel Construction. These shorty headers feature a high-strength tubular stainless steel construction for superior durability and corrosion resistance. These stainless steel tubes feature a 1.625-inch diameter and are completely mandrel-bent to ensure maximum free-flowing exhaust gases. Additionally, the headers’ flanges are CNC-machined from 0.375-inch thick stainless steel ensuring exceptional resistance to warping and leaking.
ECU Re-Tune Not Necessary. These headers deliver a boost in performance thanks to their 1.625-inch primary tubes, and exclusive Firecone collectors without the need for an ECU re-tune. Nevertheless, re-tuning your ECU in the future will always be beneficial to the performance of your truck.
CARB-Exempt. These shorty headers are CARB exempt under EO D-57-33. This makes them completely street legal in all 50 states.
