    Review & Installation Video

    Review & Install Video

Hey, guys, Alex from americanmuscle.com, and today I'm bringing you my quick review and breakdown of the Smoked Euro Style Headlights fitting the 2009 through 2014 F-150 without factory HID lighting. In this video, I'm going to talk about who these headlights are going to appeal to, what you should expect to be spending, and then we're going to take a very quick look at what's entailed to get these installed onto your truck. I'm going to be giving these a very easy 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter and less than 30 minutes to get these onto your truck. And I'll have a little bit more for you on that later. So the Smoked Euro Style Headlights that I have here today should definitely appeal to a few different types of F-150 owners out there that are going to be looking to get into a very attractive and aggressive looking budget-friendly set of headlights. First and foremost, I think these are definitely going to appeal to the owners out there that are just looking for that blacked out or smoked theme that's going to give the front end of your truck a much needed dose of aggressiveness. Now, the other type of owner out there that I think these are definitely going to appeal to would be the F-150 owner that's had a stock set of headlights on their truck for quite some time now. They might be a little bit faded, broken or just looking a little bit worn out. These are not only going to give you a little bit more of that modern and aggressive flare but it's going to be that much more cost effective than running down to your local dealership and picking up a new set right over the counter. In terms of the construction and materials here, this Euro style smoked headlight setup is going to be damn near identical to what you're going to be taking off of your F-150, but the entire lens as well as the housing is going to be smoked out. Now, one thing that I will mention here is that by getting these onto your truck, you may actually be losing a little bit of headlight. Something I would definitely suggest doing would be getting into a different set of bulbs, maybe even an HID or an LED conversion kit just because it's going to throw that much more light as well as looking that much more aggressive. In order to get into these very budget-friendly headlights, you should expect to be spending only about 160 bucks on this set, which, in my opinion, is a steal in comparison to some of the other options out there, which may either have some CCFL halos or LED halos with a bunch of LED accent lighting. I honestly think this is a very clean and well-executed set that's just going to make the front end of your truck look that much more aggressive. But again, I would definitely consider throwing in a different or an upgraded set of headlight bulbs as it's just going to look that much better as well as throwing that much more light. So switching gears to the installation portion of the video, just like I had said up top, you're looking at an incredibly straightforward and an easy 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter and less than 30 minutes to get these onto your F-150. The ease of install here is definitely a huge selling point for me as it should be for any F-150 owner out there as I personally cycled through a couple of different headlight options in the past as I just like to mix and match styles. But you're really only looking at a total of about three bolts. Going to be two up here, one down here. Once you're going to pull these off of your truck, you're essentially going to swap everything over from the factory into these headlights, tighten everything down and you're good to go. No splicing or any wiring work done here. This is going to be a simple plug-and-play bolt-on upgrade. All right, guys, just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts. If you're the '09 through '14 F-150 owner and your headlights have been taking a toll over the years, a little bit busted or faded out, or if you're just looking to get into someth

Intimidating Styling. Adding a set of Smoked Euro Style Headlights that feature aggressive black housings and smoked lenses will give your 2009 to 2014 F-150 a more intimidating appearance. These Headlights have a clean design that blends nicely into the lines of the F-150 for a factory OEM look.

Improves Visibility. Now you can improve your night visibility just by replacing your old weathered and worn out stock headlight housings with a brand new set of headlights from AmericanMuscle.

Reuses Stock Bulbs. These Smoked Euro Style F-150 Headlights are designed to reuse your stock dual element H13/9008 series bulbs saving you money.

How is night driving? Any reduction in brightness or use?

    • These headlights are smoked which would reduce light output by about 25%. We would recommend upgraded bulbs to help compensate for this.

      Terrible

The lights didn't fit the metal clips were way bigger than the ones on my stock headlights tried to make them smaller then they broke. Once installed i couldn't see anything are they even legal for highway use? Spend the $ and go with something better.

      Smoked euro style headlights

Worth the money. They look great nd fit perfectly. The only thing I had to do is swap out the metal clips from my original lights and put them on these. The new ones were to big and would not for in the slot. Easy fix though. Other than that it's great product especially for the price.

if I could rate this lower I would.

These lights are not bright. Can barely see. Not sure what they claim to be brighter than. I was thinking stock but they must have meant no lights at all.
