With its high-quality components, using the Nitro 8000 Shock Absorber guarantees that your all-terrain adventures will be more stable and controlled without the unwanted bouncing on rugged trails.
Control, Comfort and Convenience. This Nitro 8000 Rear Shock is specifically equipped with a velocity-sensitive valving technology that produces resistance in accord with the speed of the piston rod. In addition, the shock has a high nitrogen gas charge for extended rebound control. These qualities guarantee a comfortable ride and consistent control both on highways and rugged terrains. Furthermore, this equipment offers hassle-free transitions as no adjustments are needed in switching from on-road to off-road settings.
Heavy-Duty Construction. SkyJacker ensures the reliable functionality of this Nitro 8000 by using heavy-duty twin tube construction with durable mountings. The large bore offers increased oil capacity for improved ride quality. In addition, the shock comes in a white finish with a red boot that adds a bold accent to your suspension system, enhancing your Super Duty’s off-roading appeal.
Direct Bolt-on Replacement. The Nitro 8000 is built to be a direct, bolt-on replacement for your truck’s factory shock absorbers. Please note that an alignment, by a qualified shop, is highly recommended after installation.
