Velocity-Sensitive Valving. This Nitro 8000 shock absorber is equipped with a true velocity-sensitive valving for superior adjustability and application-specific dynamics. This valving technology automatically adjusts according to the speed of your truck to give you a consistently smooth ride quality no matter how fast or slow you go on any terrain.
High-Quality Construction. SkyJacker designed this Nitro 8000 Shock Absorber to maintain stable driving quality, especially during extreme off-roading. This twin-tube shock absorber features an orifice disk, triple chrome-plated rod, bonded iron piston, and premium polyurethane bushings. It also includes a leak-proof seal for efficient damping, especially on rugged trails.
Bolt-On Installation. The Nitro 8000 Rear Shock Absorber is built to attach to your truck’s factory mounting slots. With its convenient bolt-on design, it installs on your truck’s suspension system with moderate mechanical skills required. AmericanTrucks recommends alignment by a certified shop after installation for best results.
