This rear shock is engineered to improve your truck’s off-road handling characteristics while maintaining a firm but smooth highway ride. Specifically, this shock absorber combines high-pressure nitrogen gas-charged monotube style with an internal floating piston to deliver a faster damping response and precise handling when trekking the trails. On the highway, these factors give you a smooth but firm ride with the same handling characteristics for exceptional control. What’s more, this shock is outfitted with high-grade polyurethane bushings, offering excellent vibration damping for an even smoother ride.
Tough Build Quality. This rear damper utilizes a shock body machined from premium alloy with a 46mm bore. This design provides superior durability and excellent heat dissipation, ensuring consistent performance and factory fit and finish. Similarly, its piston rod is machine-formed from chrome-hardened steel, making it tough enough for the trails. Rounding out its construction is a chip-resistant silver powder-coat finish for an impressive style and exceptional corrosion protection.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This SkyJacker M95 rear shock is designed to install into your F-150 using factory locations. No welding, drilling, or other modifications are needed in most applications. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
