Description
Heavy-Duty Frame Repair. The Rust Buster Rear Frame Section; Driver Side is designed to restore and reinforce the rear frame of GM 1500 pickups affected by rust or damage. It provides critical structural support by capping the frame from the rear shock crossmember to the rear of the frame, ensuring reliable alignment and durability under load. Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy-duty 11 gauge steel, the repair section is CNC bent to match exact OEM contours for an ideal fit. It includes factory-spec alignment holes and features a protective oil coating to prevent oxidation during transit. The design incorporates high-strength Class 10.9 hardware for secure mounting, built to withstand heavy-duty use.
Installation. Installation requires welding and basic frame preparation. Pre-cut OEM alignment holes simplify the process, eliminating the need for drilling. Welding skill is necessary to ensure a strong, long-lasting repair.
