This cold air intake system is designed to reinforce your Super Duty’s impressive presence with a powerful under-the-hood sound along with awesome performance gains. It generates outstanding horsepower increase and torque gains, with 39.51% air flow improvement over stock. Moreover, it provides improved fuel economy and throttle response to enable you to successfully navigate through difficult trails.
Computer Re-Tuning Not Required. This Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your truck with no re-tuning required. It will increase power using the factory tune. It also works with a custom tune to reprogram your vehicle’s ECU for the best possible performance.
Oiled Air Filter. A durable and highly-efficient air filter with oiled, cleanable cotton media is included in this intake system. This air filter delivers better performance and protects your engine from the fine particles that could potentially damage the other components and reduce efficiency. It also features a massive configuration to ensure that a large volume of high-velocity air can get into the system for a powerful combustion process. Additionally, because of its open-air style, this filter features a black powder-coated steel cage for reinforced protection in the engine bay.
High-Quality Construction. S&B designed this Cold Air Intake with Oiled Cleanable Cotton Filter to withstand high levels of heat stress. The high-strength intake tube delivers the most efficient airflow with its free-flowing construction. It also features a black, zinc-plated support bracket to keep the intake tube-and-filter assembly stable inside the engine bay. Moreover, the new battery tray swaps the location of the OEM battery to make the intake system directly in line with the front air inlet.
Bolt-On Installation. This Cold Air Intake with Oiled Filter comes with all the necessary hardware, clamps, and seals. It fits into your Super Duty’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation process completes with the help of basic hand tools and light to moderate mechanical skills.
