No ECU-Tuning Required. The AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake does not require an ECU re-tune. That being said, tuning your ECU in the future can always be beneficial to the performance of your truck.
Pro 10R Oiled Air Filter Included. The AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake comes with the Pro 10R oiled air filter. This air filter uses 10 layers of progressively finer cotton filter media. When combined with a massive surface area this filter is able to provide 99.47% filtration efficiency while enabling superior air flow. Moreover, this air filter is easy to maintain using the proper filter restoration kit.
Resilient Build Quality. The AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake With Pro 10R Oiled Filter’s housing and intake tube are constructed from heat-resistant polyethylene using a specialized roto-molding process. This results in a one-piece housing that provides maximum filter protection, and an inlet tube that’s free of turbulence spots. Moreover, the housing comes with a transparent sight window allowing you to check the condition of the filter without removal.
Direct Install Procedure. The AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake With Pro 10R Oiled Filter mounts directly onto your truck’s factory air system location without modifications. Installation requires just standard hand tools, and all mounting hardware is included for convenience.
