Constructed with a 16mm nitro-carburized steel piston rod that resists corrosion and scuffing, the shock boasts a robust 35mm sintered iron piston for structural strength. The twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid to operate efficiently in a wide temperature range, and it is finished with a durable painted coating and a polyvinyl protective boot to withstand demanding environments.
Installation. Installation of this shock absorber is straightforward and suited for those with moderate mechanical knowledge; no drilling or special modifications are required. It is engineered to be a direct fit for the vehicle it is designed for, making replacement and upgrades seamless.
