Adjustable Ride Control for Everyday and Off-Road Use. The Rancho RS9000XL Rear Shock for Stock Height delivers customizable performance for 2WD F-150 trucks. Construction and Appearance. Built with a corrosion-resistant 18 mm nitro-carburized piston rod and a robust 1.25-inch sintered iron piston, the RS9000XL offers durability and strength for demanding use. The tri-tube body—up to 2.75 inches in diameter depending on the application—houses all-weather fluid rated for extreme temperatures. Additional features include a graphite-filled fluon-banded piston, low-friction self-lubricating seal, polyurethane rebound bumper and bushings, and a liquid metallic finish with a polyvinyl protective boot for long-lasting visual appeal.
