This rear shock absorber’s pressurized nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design features specialized progressive engagement valving. This design works to provide more immediate off-road damping and a smooth ride on the highway. These factors make this ideal for the daily driven truck that also sees regular off-road action. What’s more, this shock utilizes an internal polyurethane rebound bumper designed to dampen its piston from the inside when bottoming out further reducing harshness.
Brawny Build Quality. This strut utilizes a 2.25-inch shock body machine-formed from high-grade alloy for superior durability and efficient heat dissipation. Likewise, its 16 mm piston rod is crafted from nitro-carburized steel for optimal strength, especially for off-roading. Additionally, this shock includes a polyvinyl accordion-style dust boot designed to protect the piston rod and oil seal from debris. Lastly, this component features a silver-gray liquid metallic finish for excellent corrosion protection.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This rear shock installs into the preexisting location on your truck. No modifications to your vehicle are necessary. Moreover, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
