Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a durable nitro-carburized 16mm piston rod and a 35mm sintered iron piston, this shock features double-welded loops in stress areas for added strength. The twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid and finished with a white painted exterior and polyvinyl protective boot to resist corrosion and withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F.
Installation. Installation of the Rancho RS5000X shock is straightforward, requiring no drilling or specialized tools, suitable for experienced DIYers and professionals. It includes all necessary mounting hardware to ensure quick and secure mounting on compatible vehicles.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty, providing confidence in its long-term durability and performance.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 1997-2003 4WD Ford F-150 models with front lifts from 1.0 to 2.5 inches. It is important to note that this shock is not compatible with aftermarket shock spacers or relocation brackets.
