Man 1: The Proven Ground Front Floor Liners that we have here today would be a great choice for all 2014 to 2018 Silverado owners who are looking for affordable all-out protection for both the front and rear carpets of your truck. Now, the liner will combine a very durable rubberized polymer material with a modern look for right around 150 bucks for both the front and rear set. Now, installation, well, come on guys, they're floor mats. So, figure the softest one out of three wrenches imaginable, and no more than a minute or two of your time to complete from start to finish. So, again, I think this is gonna be a solid option for those work trucks or family haulers out there, who wanna keep both the front and rear carpets looking like new. But, most importantly, you don't wanna drop 200 to 300 bucks on a set of more expensive premium mats, that you might encounter here on the site or maybe somewhere else. Now, on that same topic, you also don't wanna settle for the one-size-fits-most generic parts store options, that, yes, might be a lot more affordable, but at the same time, you have to break out the scissors, trim them to fit, and oftentimes they are a disaster. But with all that out of the way, let's dive a little bit deeper here and talk about what you can expect here with the Proven Ground options. And again, you are looking at that very durable black polymer material that is rubberized, which still gives a little bit of flex, and will help this conform to the floor pan a little bit better in your Silverado. Now, the material itself is certainly gonna hold up to the abuses of being under your feet, while my favorite part about this material is that it will offer a very non-slip type of surface that's still very easy to clean and wash off in the event you do get mud, snow, or any spillage on the liners themselves. Basically, you're just gonna yank these out, hose them off, throw them back in, and you're good to go.Now, these are full coverage mats, guys, meaning you're getting protection, not just for the floor itself, but also upwards near the trans tunnel on both mats, over the door jam area, and even a good bit here underneath the pedals, at least for the driver side, and underneath the dash, a good bit for the passenger side mat. Now, the driver side mat, speaking of that, it is held in place thanks to the factory anchor points here, while the passenger mats simply just going to rest in place, thanks to the quality of fitment. There's really not a lot on the room for this thing to move around on here. Now, typically, with that being said, I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of, like, nub material on the back but that really isn't necessary, again, here for both front and rear mats just due to the quality of the overall fitment. But now comes a point in the video where, yes, we are gonna show you how to install floor mats at home. So without further ado, check out our detailed walkthrough right now.Man 2: So you're not gonna need any tools for this installation. You are, however, going to need to remove any existing floor mats or floor liners that are in place. You'll just remove them from the vehicle, and the new ones will just right back in place. As I said, there aren't any tools required for the removal of these old ones. Just pull them up and set them aside. And you can repeat this for all of your remaining floor liners or floor mats. Now that you have all of your old floor mats or floor liners removed from the vehicle, you can go ahead and just lay your new ones in place. I'm gonna start with the rear because it's the biggest one, and I'll just lay this down and line it up with the contours of the floor. It's a good idea to have your backseats folded up for this, just to give yourself a little bit better access. And like I said, just line up everything up with the contours of the floor, and it will sit right in place.Moving on to the front driver's floor mat, make sure you line up your retaining clips on the floor and then just push down to clip them into place. And that's gonna wrap up this review and install of the Proven Ground Precision Molded front and rear floor liners in black, fitting your 2014 to 2018 Silverado 1500. Thanks for watching. And for all things Silverado, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.
