Description
Efficient Oil Separation. The Mishimoto 2-Port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can; Black is engineered to separate oil particles from PCV and CCV air before these contaminants recirculate into the intake system. This process protects the intercooler, intake system, and other vital engine components from oil blow-by, helping to maintain optimal engine performance and reduce the risk of knock.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 100% billet 6061 aluminum, the catch can features a sealed design with Viton™ O-rings to ensure leak prevention. It incorporates a 50-micron bronze filter and an internal air diverter that enhances oil separation by increasing air turbulence. The can is precision CNC-machined and finished with a durable black anodized coating for a sleek, long-lasting appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and rated easy, requiring no complex modifications or drilling. The product includes a universal mounting bracket and aluminum barbed fittings to accommodate various setups with minimal adaptation.
